The infrared radiant heat promotes a variety of health remedies including cardiovascular health, the lowering of blood pressure, and it also improves skin conditions. This type of dry heat stimulates detoxification gently. It improves circulation in the body and induces relaxation like you’ve never experienced before.

These health benefits are obtained within a tranquil environment that does not hinder those with respiratory issues or physical limitations. With infrared saunas, the temperatures are lower and more tolerable than the traditional sauna, adding to the comfort and relaxation. Our sauna at SoulWorks was constructed with the environment in mind, made of reforested Canadian Hemlock.
Your session comes complete with bluetooth in the sauna to listen to music or a podcast, or grab a book from our library. Light therapy that corresponds to the healing of the chakra system, a towel and a water bottle if you need one, to keep you hydrated.

Shelby grew up in a small town in New Jersey along the Delaware river, but knew for a very long time her heart was in the Poconos. After moving to the area in 2014, she began to focus on her spiritual path and self discovery. She was immediately drawn to a holistic way of life. After a few years of research and working up the courage she pursued a massage therapy education at Fortis Institute in Scranton Pennsylvania. Bodywork has been life changing, and has opened so many doors in the Holistic Health Industry for her. She is currently working on incorporating crystal healing into her massages, as well as growing her nutrition and fitness education. Shelby resides in a small community on the river of Lake Wallenpaupack with her doggo Lucy Lou. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, art, paddle boarding, all the things metaphysical, and crystal magic! Shelby has recently extended her training with specialized & treatment oriented Thai Massage therapy.
